Today was finally the day... Senior Serve! The girls and I woke up early to go to setup at 10 A.M.! We thought we were pretty smart, getting there as soon as setup started so we could get it out of the way, but we were sadly mistaken. Arriving early wasn't as genius as we thought... the tables wound up being two hours late. From 10 to 12... the only thing we got done was decorating the chairs. All of our stuff we were setting up was for the tables... which only wound up taking thirty minutes! We were there for two hours too long, but thank goodness we got bulldog bucks for it! After our setup, we all parted ways to rest, shower, and get ready for the night!
The dinner itself was CRAZY. There were a bunch of beautiful tables, but without a doubt, the Dora the Explorer table was the funniest. Most people went for the "cute" look, dressing up in dresses, keeping their tables fancy, but we definitely took the opposite turn. Besides the Wizard of Oz boys, we were the only people in the whole place that went for the funny look! I'm glad too, it made the dinner so much more fun - we made a joke out of it all. We danced to some Dora remixes, I "swiped" some stuff from the guests, and made sure that everyone knew that we were there to bring the fiesta!
