First of all, today is my best friend Jamie Gigliotti's birthday! She's one of the last ones to finally turn 18, she's our little baby! After school today, Erin, Erica, Victoria, and I all went over to Jamie's house. Not for her birthday... but to make our prograd cakes! We hadn't made any and FOUR were due tomorrow... so we had to get workin! After getting no work done, we finally all decided to split up and divide jobs. Erin and Victoria couldn't focus on cake baking... so we sent them to Erin's to work on decorations.Meanwhile, Jamie, Erica, and I channeled our inner cake boss and make some of the coolest cakes I've ever seen! I seriously am no genius when it comes to cake baking, I usually just bake and ice! We made our pail-of-sand (kitty litter) cake, our picnic cake, and our TOTALLY AWESOME overall dora-themed cake! We put our heart and soul into our main cake though, and it definitely showed! We made a waterfall scene with dora, swiper, and diego on it... complete with our adorable rice krispie trees!
After all of our cake baking... we of course had to celebrate Jamie's 18th birthday! Erin, Erica, Victoria, Brooke, and I all hung out at Jamie's for the night, playing games until the wee hours! All of us pretty much ganged up on Brooke... but we couldn't help it, it was hilarious! We all couldn't stop laughing the entire night, everything coming out of our mouths was so funny! Brooke's quote of the night, "EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS HOUSE!" made us all almost pee in our pants! From Victoria running into the wall to us all spitting and throwing cheddar whales at each other, celebrating Jamie's birthday with the girls was so much fun! I'm so glad that no matter what moods we're in, my rambunctious friends and I can always amp up the party and have a good time!
