Day 58: Home Again

On the way home, I made a LOT of bracelets. I think my total at the end stood at about 16 I made so many! On the bus ride home, we watched a lot of movies. "The Crazies"-which wasn't that scary actually, just weird, "Dodgeball", "Nacho Libre" - which is the stupidest movie EVER made, and "Bruce Almighty". Watching so many movies made me tired and I just felt like sleeping all day, especially because I wanted to dream that I was back in Colorado at camp :( Apparently so did everyone else because pretty much the whole bus was asleep! So of course I decided to take pictures of them sleeping :) Once we made our lunch stop however, we all knew it was over. We stopped at a Whataburger and when we walked out of the bus, we were hit with overwhelming heat that was insane. We knew that we were definitely back in Texas. It was literally like an on and off switch, when you get into Texas, it's instantly hot! A couple hours later, we finally arrived at the CUMC and got off the bus and were home. I couldn't believe it, my trip was actually over! I didn't want it to be, but I was pretty glad that I at least got the time that I did, because last year we were sent home early due to swine flu! My dad and Tom Gigliotti were picking Erin, Jamie, and I up, and once I saw my dad I started to cry. This week has involved getting closer with god and talking about dads, and I think that I was just so overwhelmed by love that I was just extremely happy to see him because I love my daddy :) After we left, Erin, Jamie, and I had a FEAST waiting for us at the Cassani household, in order for us to share all of our camp memories. It was a good first night home, but we were all a little disappointed when our parents didn't play "Bring 'Em Out" by T.I. when they gave us our food!
