Day 203: Christmas Eve!

Today was a busy day for the Muller family! We started off the day by all going to Christmas Vigil mass, which was PACKED. I'm pretty sure everyone says this when it comes to crowded Christmas church... but I'm sure we got the very last seats in the house! After church, we had to all clean up the house a little bit before all of our family friends came over! We got lucky, having our church get out at 5, because everyone who went to the later service got out a 6 and got soaked by the rain! Elissa was so wet, she even had to borrow clothes from me! After everyone got a little dried off, we started the feast! There was so much food, I can't even begin to describe. Our Christmas had more food than our Thanksgiving! All the kids were starving, so we ate within a few minutes. To be honest, we were probably just anxious to open our presents for the gift exchange! Ours was fun, but it wasn't as crazy as the parents'! They got things stolen left and right, and everyone forgot about the trick to the ugly candy dish. Every year, my mom gifts an ugly candy dish so that no one will take it, but in the end she reveals the "real present" to the owner of the candy dish. Mrs. Brenda is the only one who remembered in the end - lucky her! Needless to say, it was a successful Christmas Eve!
