Brittany's Senior 365

My mom and I today decided to go get strep tests at HEB before we had to do some sunday grocery shopping. Both of us had semi-sore throats, so we thought we might as well try and avoid the situation before it starts! Anyways, waiting for the nurse took FOREVER. We seriously were waiting for an hour, and we were starting to get a little crazy. We were making jokes out the wah-zoo, and the nurse was probably getting a little annoyed of us. She asked both of us if we were congested and when I responded "no", she seemed a little surprised. She looked at my mom and said, "she doesn't sound congested to you? does she normally sound like this?" My mom and I looked at each other and burst out laughing. The nurse looked confused and when I finally got myself together, I looked at the nurse and told her, "no, my voice is just naturally deep and raspy." She gave me an apologetic look but my mom and I couldn't stop laughing. Sometimes, you just gotta laugh at your own deep voice!
